On behalf
of the Excalibur Group, I would like to extend a warm
welcome to you to the official opening ceremony of Talat Sao
Mall. Your presence to celebrate this important and
memorable occasion an honor to us.
This is
the day that we have been looking forward to since the
ground-breaking ceremony in February 2005. During the
ceremony, we assured you that we would focus our efforts and
resources on the project. Indeed, the project has been
successfully completed and we managed to overcome the
difficulties that arise along the way.
Vientiane
Capital City is one of the Lao People’s Democratic
Republic’s most visited areas by tourists. Hence, it makes
sense for us to establish a presence here to conveniently
provide a modern shopping mall, equipped with comprehensive
facilities and a greater variety of shops.
The
opening of Talat Sao Mall in this strategic location will
enable us to have direct interface with locals and tourists
so as to better anticipate and cater to their varying needs.
It also
acts as a vehicle for us to experiment and roll out new
products and services to keep up with today’s needs and
demand. With this, we aim to work towards elevating and
redefining the service standards and improve the product mix
and quality.
Positioned
as more then just a shopping mall, we hope to provide our
shoppers a convenient platform by offering a wide range of
products; from beautiful Lao Silk, memorable souvenirs and
exquisite antiques, to great food & beverages outlets, and
even banking services.
We believe
that Talat Sao Mall will be a vibrant shopping mall with
exciting promotions and activities for everyone regardless
of age. In time to come, it will be the ‘top-of-the-mind’
shopping mall among locals and tourists, and it will be the
icon of Vientiane Capital.
With the
successful completion of phase 1, we are ready to embark on
phase 2. We hope that we will continue to receive kind
support from Government of Lao People’s Democratic Republic
for a smooth progress and successful completion of the next
phase.
